If you decide to add a pet to your home, you will inevitably face a  "accident.Â" Here are some tips on the application of CPR to your floor.

Not only is it more hygienic, but if your pet can smell the urine, still mark the spot again and again. You can use several different products to break the odor of urine. There are several commercial products you can try, as Natures Miracle, Pet Stop, No-Go or Febreze. Shampoo your carpet is often a good idea too. Many carpet cleaners have a brand of shampoo that is specially made for pet odors.

There are also several home remedies. Pour baking soda on hand to absorb much of the urine and odor. Allow to stand for about twenty-four hours, then vacuum. You can try using clumping cat litter as well. Listerine in a spray bottle works often works for odors cat. Vinegar and water is also a good low cost option. You can also try Windex or alcohol. Remember to test a product in a hidden part of the carpet to ensure wonÂ't that damage your carpet in any way.

When all else fails, call a professional carpet cleaner. Their machines can generally establish dirt and smells better than machines at home. The important thing to remember is that the ground clean thoroughly and as soon as possible so your pet does not attempt to mark their territory and other time and worsen the problem.
